Duncan.
Duncan was born in the Netherlands. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands, the USA, France and Germany and currently he lives and works in Austria. These works were completed in his "dynamic-visual-meditation" (DVM) period invented by Duncan some 25 years ago, resulting from an intense occupation with quantum theory and the theories of relativity. The most eye catching feature of the DVM work are the many circles. The circle is the building component of the DVM-world and what gives the work its material status, as one part of reality, with at its core a hole, the unmaterialized space. This construction is there to show that the whole of life is truely whole: one interconnected state of being.
