  • Maria Elisa Leborini (1934-present), is an Italina artisan printmaker and long time residemt of Peruga, Italy where she trained at the Academy of Arts. While on the surface many of her works appear whimsical and joyful, respect for the environment, personal freedoms and feminism are subtly messaged. She had commercial success as a book illustrator. New York's Museum of Modern Art have added her to their permanent collections. Her ex-libris works are sought after.
