John Noy. John Noy (1951) Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Academy for Visual Arts in Amsterdam. Conceptual rtist working from his hometown Utrecht. He mainly focuses on people and in particular the beauty and diversity of women. Noy works without a model, which encourages more personal design. The technically well-painted artworks have an exuberant color. He loves the cubist lines and is charmed by the expressiveness of the painters Picasso, Rembrandt, and Appel.
