John Noy

John Noy (1951), was art educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Academy for Visual Arts in Amsterdam. He is a conceptual artist working from his hometown Utrecht, who paints and draws in two styles, figurative and abstract. He mainly focuses on people and in particular the beauty and diversity of women. He does not employ models, which encourages more personal design. The technically well-painted artworks always have an exuberant colour. He loves cubist lines and is influenced by the expressiveness of the painters like Picasso, Rembrandt, and Appel. His works are represented by a number of Gallery’s mainly in Holland and France.
